The breadwinner of the Gupta family “Mr. Gupta” passes away after a serious accident and his wife too kindly embraced death after that too. Both of them leave a school-going son named Ramnath to fed for himself but he too is handicapped since he is knocked down and run over by a speeding car, losing the use of his left leg. Ramnath is soon, after his parents death is thrown out by the landlord on the outskirts of Bombay. Ramnath stave for a couple of days since he has no money but he soon befriends a young man of his same age, the young man name is Mohan and he has been blind by birth. The two friends roam the street of Bombay and is soon shown some light to begin there new era of life.
