"Funeral Parade of Roses" is a job that does not underestimate the power of the gay image of Japan. It is one of the favorite movies of Stanly Kubric, and it had a significant influence to the style of "A Clockwork Orange" is. The film deals with the drag queen of Japan, including clubs, the competition and they have sex. Oedipus in a fashion, except in reverse, the main character killed his mother so he could have a relationship with his father. Director Toshio Matsumato seems way ahead of his time to his role of sex and violence on the screen. Bergman also in a like fashion, actors were interviewed for the audience to realize it's just a movie (and a twist in it). The movie has many scenes of illusion, and who can forget the drag queen using urinals. There is also a strange fight scene between the two drag queens, and when they shouted comic bubbles pop out of his mouth.
