The film begins with a drunk being thrown out and kind of river. A woman was found dead in her bathtub by her assistants. It was determined chloroform was involved in her death. Muldoon entered China, have been involved in campus investigation. Muldoon and the man his right, Det. Jimmy Halleran, also found the missing jewelry. Woman killed Jean Dexter, a fashion model, leading police to a Dr. Stoneman, a man who loves her. Also, a detective discovered a cigarette box that only one man, Frank Niles, who also appears to be involved. The drunk in the river is a jewelry thief, and he, in turn, points to the Harmonica Willie, a tough guy with a criminal record.
